The controller measures just 0.91" x 0.91", yet it is one of the most fully-featured servo controllers available. The speed and range of each servo can be controlled independently, the baud rate is detected automatically over a 1200-38400 bps range, and multiple units can be daisy-chained on one serial line to control up to 128 servos. Three status LEDs and an integrated level converter for RS-232 applications get you up and running quickly. The micro serial servo controller is dwarfed by even a standard servo, but it can control any standard servo, including giant 1/4-scale servos! The controller is available in two configurations: Assembled: As shown in the left picture above. All components and connector pins are soldered onto the pcb as shown. Kit: As shown in the right picture above. All surface mounted components are pre-soldered onto the board. It is only left up to you to solder the connector pins as you see fit. This allows you to hardwire the servo wires directly to the board, or the power connections, or a combination thereof. The connector pins are included in case you wish to utilize them. This controller supports standard serial communications, such as use with microcontrollers. It will also work with software or protocols that support the Mini SSC II available from Scott Edward Electronics.
